Last night DBSA Princeton marked ten years of support group meetings for the community, with 21 support group members and guests celebrating the occasion with cake, treats, and decorations contributed by those in attendance. Mark Stella, President of our chapter, and David Mizenko, a former President, spoke about the value of our support group in helping our members towards wellness. Chris Chernick, President of DBSA New Jersey, expressed his appreciation for what DBSA Princeton has accomplished for our community.
DBSA Princeton has made a donation to the Princeton Healthcare System Foundation to honor the hospital’s decade long support in hosting our meetings, during which, as stated in Mr. Stella’s cover letter, “we have held about 700 support group meetings helping over 2,000 individuals on the path to wellness for themselves and their families.” The letter continues with the recognition that “this would not have been possible without your generous support.”
