DBSA Princeton is adding a twice monthly Saturday meeting starting March 11, 2017 at the Reach Out/Speak Out Community Wellness Center in Hamilton Township, Mercer County, New Jersey. The support group will meet on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM. Persons living with depression, bipolar disorder, or related conditions, and family members and friends of such individuals, are welcome to attend.
The Reach Out/Speak Out Community Wellness Center is at 2100 E. State Street Extension, at the intersection with Sculptures Way. Parking is available on the street and in a lot to the left of the building. Enter the center through the double-glass doors in the front.
The Reach Out/Speak Out Community Wellness Center contacted DBSA Princeton to offer their facilities for a support group meeting; an offer that was gratefully accepted. The center is part of a network of centers for peers living with mental health conditions run by Collaborative Support Programs of New Jersey.
It is hoped that a Saturday daytime meeting will provide an opportunity for peer support for those whose schedule does not permit attending a weekday evening meeting. The meeting is free and no pre-registration is required. For additional information or questions, please contact us at dbsaPrinceton@gmail.com or call Kattrina at 609-378-5371.
