DBSA Princeton will welcome David Nathan, MD and Nathalie Edmond, PsyD to present at our support group meetings on October 20 and December 8, respectively. Our guests will share their knowledge and insights with the group for the first hour of our meetings, from 7:30 to 8:30 PM, to be followed by abbreviated support group meetings which will end at about the usual time, 9:15 PM.
Our Ask the Doctor speaker, Dr. Nathan, is a psychiatrist practicing in Princeton. He has been DBSA Princeton’s professional advisor since our founding in 2004, and has spoken to our group many times. He has also presented at the annual DBSA New Jersey conference. Support group participants have found his sessions to be helpful in improving their understanding of their conditions and treatment.
Dr. Edmond will lead a discussion about Mindfulness. She is a staff psychologist at Princeton University’s counseling center and has a private practice in Pennington. Her presentations about mindfulness at the DBSA New Jersey conference last month, and at the DBSA national conference last week, were well received.
